Graduate Recruitment Activity

  • Introduce ideas and ways to advertise the graduate programme
  • Create a graduate assessment centre welcome pack
  • Advertise and Liaise with Universities to promote the Graduate Programme
  • Prepare for and help the Resourcing Manager to run all the Assessment Centre’s
  • Attend Recruitment fairs and be actively involved in promoting the Graduate Scheme

Offer and on-boarding

  • Effectively manage candidate communications from when we receive the shortlist of candidates through to post assessment centre
  • Devise a communication plan for key dates of communication to candidates
  • Develop a plan for on-boarding of new graduate and intern hires
  • Carry out a corporate induction with all new intern starters
  • aduate Development
  • Support the Graduate Manager in the organisation and delivery of the Intern and Graduate Development Programme for pladis
  • Develop and manage graduate performance reviews process at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months
  • Help book venues for graduate modules – liaising with external events team
  • Act as a Coach to the graduates throughout the programme
  • tern Recruitment:
  • Manage all student Intern recruitment processes internally and externally to ensure attraction and recruitment of high quality talent within a LEAN organization.
  • Advertise roles, screen candidates, assist with interviews if the line manager wants help, offer to and reject candidates and overall ensure all candidates have a good ‘pladis experience’.

Reward

  • Support the UK Reward Manager on ad-hoc Reward Projects as and when required, including, but not limited to:
  • Co-ordinate the launch / roll out of any new benefits
  • Analyse graduate pay surveys to pull out key messages around starting salaries and salary progression
  • Online research into statutory initiatives, such as Gender Pay
  • Produce monthly economic indicators to aid UK salary negotiations.

Learning and Development

  • Support the L&D Manager on all major L&D Programmes
  • Be the main point of contact for the administration of programmes
  • Issue joining instructions, briefing packs and organise Hang-outs to Managers & delegates
  • Maintain training records for the programme
  • her Ad-hoc Activities:
  • Support the Graduate Manager in ad-hoc and key Resourcing projects.Ensure invoices and PO numbers are raised and paid in the appropriate timeframe.

  • You must have a strong academic background, with a minimum of an expected 2:1 (60% or international equivalent) at degree level, and a minimum 300 UCAS points
  • Strong interest in HR
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Attention to detail is a critical skill for this role, as you will be dealing with different levels of management and a lot of external people
  • Communication Skills
  • Strong organisation skills
