What you’ll do

Your role will typically involve:

  • Digitalisation of systems and Big Data analytics
  • Smart Homes, Metering and Grids
  • Cyber Security and Business Resilience
  • Infrastructure design, optimisation and process support
  • Change design and implementation and understanding business impact
  • Stakeholder management, in particular troubleshooting and resolution

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an individual who has incredible drive and is delivery-focused, with experience in working to tight deadlines. You’ll have good analytical skills and the ability to identify, understand and articulate document information and recommendations. Having a strong customer focus is also important, alongside good interpersonal skills.

Ideally, you’ll demonstrate the ability to identify and analyse situations by isolating key issues, evaluating relevant data and drawing appropriate conclusions. You’ll have knowledge in a range of systems analysis techniques, and also within process and design techniques. You’ll have an understanding of application test concepts and approaches to testing. Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, UNIX and Linux operating systems is essential.

A background in application development and deployment techniques is also useful, along with knowledge of the Prince2/APMP or equivalent project management methodology and ITIL or equivalent service management processes.
