About G-Research
At G-Research we research investment strategies to predict price returns in financial markets across multiple asset classes. We also develop the research and execution platform to deploy these ideas in markets globally.
Software Development Internship
Developers at G-Research create bespoke quantitative research software used to predict returns in financial markets across multiple asset classes. They are encouraged to use their initiative and creativity to devise solutions to a range of diverse and complex technical problems.
As a pivotal part of our business, our developers work with cutting edge technologies that allow them to extend and enhance our global software stack, creating new applications that turn exceptional ideas into exceptional results. They will be working on performance critical, large scale enterprise systems that require sharp and agile minds able to learn new skills fast.
The Individual
The candidate must be a strong, competent, and practical software developer. They should be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in both software technology and the underlying hardware.
Required skills
Experience with an object orientated programming language, preferably C#, Java, or C++.
Appreciation of good software architecture, core programming techniques and data structures
Excellent academics - good A-level results (360 UCAS points or above) and working towards a 2.1 or better from a top university in a computing-related or other numerate subject. Financial experience may be useful but is not required.

Compensation
