Applied Intelligence - Consultancy Summer Internship
A Summer Internship at BAE Systems will give you invaluable insight into working life. If you secure one of the 100+ placements available across our UK business, you’ll receive on-the-job training, within a structured framework. It’s a great way to see theory in practice.
We offer you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, industry-leading projects, with different clients within our consulting function. Whether you’re based on-site with clients or in-house, you’ll be working towards helping our clients to solve their business problems. We have a wide variety of positions available within the consulting space, these include; Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, Security Consulting, Data Consulting, Creative Consulting and Business Analysis.

Application process
To join our Summer Internship scheme, you must be on course for at least a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree, this can be in any subject if you’re applying for business or finance opportunities. Your degree must be in an engineering, technical, numerical or scientific subject for our consultancy, engineering or technical delivery placements. For our finance placements, you also need 280 UCAS points (or equivalent).
Our selection process works on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Stage 1: upload a CV and answer a few short questions
- Stage 2: first interview (telephone)
- Stage 3: second interview (involving a presentation and case study)
