Applied Intelligence - Engineering Industrial Placement
As a year in industry student, you will have the opportunity to develop your skill set. Over 12 months, you will gain invaluable commercial experience, working alongside some of the top professionals in their individual disciplines.
Playing an integral part in one of our UK based teams; you will be part of the day to day development and delivery of our projects and acquire a unique and fascinating insight into our business. Our 12 month placements are offered within our Engineering workforce.
As an Engineering year in industry student, there a wide variety of roles that are available across our core UK business divisions, these include; Software Engineering, Application Support & Maintenance, Systems Engineering & Architecture, Physical Science & Technology and Infrastructure Engineering. Within all these positions, you will have you own responsibilities from day 1, and with support and training, you will play a key part in the delivery of certain projects.
Benefits
Our year in industry students receive £19,500 if you’ve completed two years of study, and £21,500 if you’ve completed three or more years. Application process
To join our Industrial Placement scheme, you must be on course for at least a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree, this can be in any subject if you’re applying for business or finance opportunities. Your degree must be in an engineering, technical, numerical or scientific subject for our consultancy, engineering or technical delivery placements. For our finance placements, you also need 280 UCAS points (or equivalent).
Our selection process works on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Stage 1: upload a CV and answer a few short questions
- Stage 2: first interview (telephone)
- Stage 3: second interview (involving a presentation and case study)
