The Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is the UK's provider of large scale inter-disciplinary research, associated infrastructures and their supporting technologies, which enable UK researchers to investigate the world we live in and understand the building blocks of the Universe.
Comms/Marketing/Programme Directorate
STFC offers you an opportunity to gain paid practical experience as part of your degree. Each year STFC recruit up to 45 sandwich students who are able to use and develop the skills they’ve acquired at university in a working environment, providing learning on the job and working on real projects alongside expert scientists and engineers.
We have the following Sandwich Student opportunities available in our Communications, Marketing and Programme divisions:
- Science Communication Student
- Communications Content Officer
- Marketing and Events Assistant
- Programme Co-ordinator
The above opportunities would suit those studying towards a degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Media Studies/Marketing, communications, business studies, or a science-based subject with business/marketing units.
