Industrial Student Placement – R&D

Red Bull Technology is inviting candidates to apply for an Industrial Placement position within the following area:

  • R&D Test – Chassis Group

Candidates wishing to apply for this role should be studying towards a Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Degree. You should be very computer literate but also prepared to perform hands-on tasks.

The placement will be for one year duration, commencing Summer 2017.

The key accountabilities of this role are:

  • To develop a good level of competency of CAD through training and practice
  • To produce detailed design drawings of R&D Test rig assemblies and release for manufacture
  • To assist with component, rig and fixture assembly and general laboratory test preparation
  • To play an active role in the day-to-day function of the department, including component and assembly testing to the high standards set and the procedures defined by the department
  • To assist with the analysis of test results and compilation of accurate reports detailing the findings from R&D Chassis Testing
  • To play an active part in the presentation of the R&D Chassis Test Departments
