Industrial Placement Programme

We have an exciting opportunity for undergraduates looking to complete an industrial placement as part of their university degree.

Our industrial placement students could be working in a warehouse as a team leader developing their people management skills or in the transport office as a transport planner.  All of our placements are hands-on roles which will develop placement students’ work-related skills and offer huge potential for personal growth.

What the programme looks like

  • 12 month structured programme
  • Based in a warehouse / transport departments learning about different areas of the operation
  • On the job training, supported by two development workshops to enhance team working, communication and project management skills
  • Real responsibility
  • Experience of working within fast paced sites and environments
  • Performance feedback and personal development planning
  • £17,000 salary and 25 days holiday
  • Starting summer 2017

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must be studying a recognised sandwich undergraduate degree, with anticipated graduation date of summer 2017
  • Must be on track to achieve 2:1 or above in any discipline
  • Eligibility to unrestrictedly work and live in the UK for the duration of the placement
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Have an interest in completing your placement in logistics / supply chain industry
  • Willing to take on responsibility from day 1
