Behind the scenes here at Screwfix are the amazing team in charge of finding us the perfect new locations for all our new stores. They are specialists in what they do – so you’ll be learning from the very best. You could get involved in anything from negotiating lease terms with the Landlord, to putting equipment-servicing contracts into place, or delivering brilliant solutions that help us reduce our carbon footprint.

The skills you need

Without wishing to state the obvious, you’ll need to love retail. In fact, you’ll need to be bubbling with enthusiasm in general. We’re looking for creative, ambitious people, who are honest and reliable. Oh and you’ll need to be used to hard-work too. You’ll be looking to develop a career in Property and will be studying towards a Property related degree. Your relationship management skills are second to none and you’re naturally organised. When working to deadlines, you always strive for improvement. You’ll need to be happy working in a deadline driven environment and able to adapt quickly to unexpected changes. You’ll be working with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel so you’ll need to be proficient.
