Customer Operations – Undergraduate Placement

Screwfix Trade Counters are opening at a phenomenal rate and that means the support offered to our store estate needs to be of the highest possible standard. Whether this means clear and timely communication, constant development and improvement of our processes or the day to day running of our branches, TC Ops Support ensure the operation is as smooth and efficient as possible. Offering a consistent level of support to the operations team, you’ll have an active involvement in the successful delivery of key developmental project work. Acting as the interface between Trade Counters and Head office functions, you’ll be responsible for the effective resolution and support of queries from Trade Counters relating to all operational processes.

The skills you need

Without wishing to state the obvious, you’ll need to love retail. In fact, you’ll need to be bubbling with enthusiasm in general. We’re looking for creative, ambitious people who are honest and reliable. Oh and you’ll need to be used to hard-work too. You’ll have excellent communication skills and your interpersonal skills make you a confident relationship builder. Organisation and planning skills are a must as is the ability to work under pressure whilst still delivering high standards. We’re looking for a team player. Someone who is positive and proactive with a passion for customer service.
