Network Development and Strategy Placement

Core Responsibilities:

Market Representation

  • Assist in the coordination of Operating Guideline results and appeals
  • To assist in the compilation of territory performance for opportunity analysis
  • Maintain and update the ‘Centre Dashboard’ business performance report

Porsche Business Excellence

  • Assist in the administration of the Porsche Business Excellence (PBE) programme including the updating of regular reports and development of the programme
  • Provide support for the PBE field team by assisting in coordinating resources
  • Provide assistance in the coordination of PBE follow up coaching days
  • Assist in the administration of PBE Certification

Pre-Owned Cars

  • Provide support to the Porsche Network for the IPL system (International Porsche Locator) which drives the Pre-Owned Stock Locator on the Porsche website
  • To coordinate the monthly PCGB Electronic Auction
  • To assist the development and maintenance of the used car external point of sales
  • Co-ordinate the Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Car Audit including the quarterly network appeal process
  • Produce and analyse reports including Porsche Pre-Owned Market Share Analysis, Monthly Pre-Owned Market Report, Pre-Owned Centre Scorecard and Warranty Sales Report
  • To collate and evaluate monthly used car figures in order to assist in the payment of the used car quarterly bonus
  • Carry out Residual Value analysis and support the remarketing of the Porsche Cars fleets through our electronic auction

Corporate Sales Development

  • Carry out project work related to the establishment of the new Porsche Corporate Sales programme
  • Provide support to key fleet and corporate customers, maintain the contact database and attend meetings with these suppliers
  • Work with the marketing department to monitor the activities of our core competitors in the corporate market, produce collateral and support our dedicated web presence
  • Support the department in any commercial fleet events held at external venues

We are looking for a pro-active, self-starter who has the ability to take on and develop their own projects and be a good team player. For our August 2016 programme the chosen candidate will play a fundamental role in day-to-day tasks and projects, giving you the opportunity to make a real contribution to our organisation and gain invaluable work experience. Candidates should be undergraduates looking for a placement year in their 3rd year of study and ideally studying towards a business, finance or science related degree. Preferably have strong IT Skills, particularly MS Excel and knowledge of AS400 and MS MapPoint would be an advantage whilst being confident in spoken and written English.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, daily food allowance and a bus pass in the Reading area.
