What will I be doing?

You’ll be undertaking research to understand what consumers want and need, and developing the technology and science to bring new innovations to life. Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree by the time they start their placement and be returning to study after their placement.

Research and Development Summer Placements

Research and Development Summer Placements are a chance to showcase your thinking and skills, with total support from a line manager and a buddy. Students who successfully pass our Summer Placement programme will be fast-tracked to the final stage of the selection process for the Unilever Future Leaders Programme – The Discovery Centre Day.

We also have excellent benefits to support you through your placement including a salary of £20,000, 20 days annual leave and online training.
