What will I be doing?

You’ll be constantly deepening the already expert knowledge of our brands and the people who use them. You’ll use this level of insight to help develop our products’ personalities and bring them to life. That could mean working on the launch of a new ice cream, undertaking research on the latest trends in hair care, looking at sponsorship opportunities for Flora or planning a digital campaign for Lynx.

Creative flair will see you go far, but marketing is commercially focused and demands strong business skills to actually make things happen. It takes a deep sense of logic, ambition, organisational and analytical skills, a head for figures and great gut instincts.

Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree by the time they start their placement and be returning to study after their placement.

Marketing Industrial Placements

Our Marketing Industrial Placements are a chance to showcase your thinking and skills, with total support from a line manager and a buddy. The top performers on the Industrial Placement will be offered a place directly onto our Unilever Future Leaders Programme, starting when you complete your degree, without needing to apply.

We also have excellent benefits to support you through your placement including a salary of £20,000, 20 days annual leave and online training.
