About the role

As a Channel Operations Executive you will be part of the UK Channel Team working with Channel Account Managers, SI Partner Managers and Sales Representatives across the UK business to drive Channel Programs, such as Deal Registration and Renewals Programs, to assist in delivering incremental business from Intel Security's Channel Partners. You will develop relationships with staff within both Intel Security and the Partners to ensure that the program is used to its fullest potential and managed within the rules of the programs. Reviewed on a regular basis the operation of the program can be continually improved and your input as part of the Channel Team to the review and improvement process will be important.

You'll have the opportunity to work on several projects simultaneously with teams based in the UK and globally.

Benefits and salary

You would earn a base salary of £15,000 per annum plus a £1000 starting bonus and a £1000 finishing bonus if you complete your 13 month placement. You would be eligible for our quarterly profit bonus and annual performance bonus subject to guidelines. You would also receive 24 days paid holiday (per annum) and 2 paid study days.  Other benefits vary depending on the site in which you are based.

What we look for

First thing first - you should be interested in taking a placement year out as part of your 4 year sandwich degree and must be on a target for at least a 2:1 at the completion of second year.

You are not required to be studying degree in a specific subject to be successful in this role, more importantly we'll be looking for your enthusiasm, plenty of energy and passion for the areas Intel IT works closely with; i.e., Sales and Marketing.

Having IT or business background is not a must have but will be an advantage - to help you make the most of your placement at Intel IT, we'll be relying on your aptitude, interests and personal attributes such as your ability to:

  • Pursue learning opportunities even when outside own comfort zone and adapt to work environment
  • Analyse and solve problems in given resources, knowledge and through working with colleagues
  • Plan and organize tasks, and demonstrate dedication to complete assigned tasks on time

You'll be given the opportunity to work with teams at Intel IT that specialise in a variety of functional areas including Digital Sales, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain, and Business Intelligence & Predictive Analytics. So having an appetite for development in across a variety of these areas will be a value add.
