Our Internship Programme

Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our short (3- 6 months) and long term (12-13 months) Internship Programmes. Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers you a highly dynamic, fast-paced, professional working environment and the chance to develop the skills you have gained at university in a real business environment. During your internship you will not only apply these skills in the IT industry, but also acquire a range of abilities to contribute to the business whilst working alongside industry professionals.

Scope of the Internship Programme

Throughout the programme, you'll have regular training and one-to-one meetings with your manager. Working together, you'll set goals and plot your development. And with our open-plan offices and friendly working culture, you'll have the chance to learn from senior managers who can help you in your future career. The roles offered in our Sales Internship Programme include but are not limited to: Pre-sales; Inside sales; Sales Operations; Sales Support; Consultation.

What to expect

It all begins with an on-boarding course where you’ll get to grips with our business and how you fit into it. Thereafter you’ll participate in training, attend workshops, work on projects and undergo intensive professional and project management training in order to prepare you for your new role. Straight away, you'll be working with people who are experts in their field. As a valued part of the team, we’ll expect you to give your insight and opinion, and make a real contribution to our business.

Throughout this scheme, your training and development won’t stop. You’ll attend sessions designed to hone your soft skills, and you’ll have the support of your line manager and a buddy. Through ongoing appraisals and feedback processes, you’ll drive your career.

Applicant Requirements

2015/2016 Intake
We are looking for high achievers who are currently in their 2nd / 3rd year of studies. The candidates needs to be enrolled in university and perusing a Bachelor or Master degree. Applicants should be on track of obtaining a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and must be eligible to work in the UK.

Additional Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
  • Strong interests in working in IT industry
  • Some relevant experience is preferred but not essential
