The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. They were willing to arrange time to talk with me about their work eve though I was only there for a short amount of time so I felt like I mattered. My main work task was not very interesting and I don't think it contributed anything useful to the team.
The hours were very good so I was able to maintain a good work life balance. There were lots of social activities put on by work including Christmas parties, talks by the likes of :::Jamie Dimon and Lori Beer::: and team dinners. I found the work challenging and stimulating, but always felt like I could ask for help if it became too much.
The experience was fabulous, I had exposure to senior meetings and projects, was set my own projects and given help with anything I didn't understand. In addition to this they promoted a positive work life balance, and it was easy to make friends with the other interns as they put on many networking, charity and social events for us.
I have never experienced such a great organization and management of an internship program. Everything was organized from day one. The organizing team was always there to help and support with any questions. This is also true for the entire application process (from the moment you applied online to the receiving the offer).
I had an extraordinary summer at J.P. Morgan, full of learning and networking opportunities. This internship helped further my career by providing me with the essential support and assistance required for me to develop and improve my current software engineering skills. I felt like another very important feature of my placement was the emphasis they put on personal growth.
