The virtual internship was a great experience for me. I had great opportunities to network with an extensive group of people. I received thorough training before and during my internship that helped me to learn as much as possible throughout. I also had the opportunity to practice my presentation skills with a case study throughout the internship, this helped me to put my training and my new skills to work. Overall, I found the internship to be extremely rewarding and insightful.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement. The workload was substantial however the content was extremely interesting and my team were very attentive at all times, offering me help whenever I needed it. There were so many opportunities to network, get exposure to professionals higher up within the business and understand more about the day to day of the graduate roles. I would say overall this provided a great insight to life at the firm and I really enjoyed my time there.
I really enjoyed my summer internship within the Investment banking division even though the initial length of the internship got shortened. i enjoyed the team, the culture of the firm and learned a lot of things (soft as well as hard skills) from all my colleagues and seniors. There were several events during the internship so that we could build bonds and relationships between each interns, and get to know the culture of the firm.
I really enjoyed my time at J.P. Morgan and especially the team which I worked with. It was a privilege to work with industry experts. It was not my first experience in Investment Banking but this one truly was special and I will remember it. In addition to, I get very early exposure to the industry and ownership in the work I provided. I can only say that the effort and work I put to secure this internship was worth it!
I have really enjoyed my internship. Not only it gave me the chance of getting engaged in what of the major business in the world, but also it made me meet different people around the world. Furthermore, the values I got to know through my summer internship really inspired me and motivated me. JpMorgan is not only a bank, but an inspiring social entity. Together with 'clients first', I would definitely define 'employees first' as one of Jp's mottos.
Very good internship. Great implication from the firm to share a lot with interns. The internship is adapted to the level of students from low level in finance to already experienced students. Also, various activities/tasks to do. Everything is tested and improved from technical to soft skills. Different trainings and various opportunities to learn. The internship is very demanding. I highly recommend internships at JP Morgan.
The virtual experience was very well organised both within the team and also by the Recruitment team. The Recruitment team organised a range of senior speaking events and networking opportunities for interns to enjoy, both of which helped to enrich the experience. The team I was in, UK ECM, set me up with a buddy (who answered any questions that I had) and assigned me tasks to complete alongside my case study. I felt able to make a meaningful contribution which made the experience enjoyable and highly worthwhile.
It was an amazing learning experience, which is what I typically look for in a good internship. The intern experience that was specifically created for remote work was very well thought out. It was lovely to actually have a busy schedule specifically dedicated to interns, rather than just being thrown into an office and left to work on our own. The only thing that I did not enjoy is the excessive meetings. Oftentimes felt like I was stuck in a day full of meetings without any time left to actually do my work.
The J.P. Morgan Spring Insight Programme was outstanding, inspiring and educational. Each day was filled with a plethora of different presentations and Q&A sessions which allowed me to fully grasp the culture at the Investment Bank and its operations. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to have all of my questions answered, as well as the additional Panel Events post programme. This made me feel as if I was able to truly connect with the firm, despite the Covid-19 situation. I realised that J.P. Morgan would be the perfect place for me in the future as each day would bring a new round of excitement!
It was a great experience, to be able to interact with seniors and juniors from the bank alike. I gained a deeper understanding of the bank's divisions and its people, from their day to day work to their culture. It was insightful to meet with these people and other driven students with a keen interest in finance, and it definitely solidified my growing interest in the field. I would rate the Spring into Finance programme to be highly enjoyable,
I absolutely loved taking part in the J.P. Morgan's 2020 Investment Banking Spring Insight Programme. I really enjoyed being able to get so many great insights into the firm's different divisions and learn more about what each role entails.
I absolutely loved the Spring Week! Having done an insight week at a different bank before, I expected it to be mainly about the different divisions at JPM. However, I was pleasantly surprised that most of the program was trainings and webinars. I definitely learned a lot during that week and during the "Continuing Education" series. I think that the virtual format of the spring week was successful as well! I am definitely going to apply to the Summer Program!
It was really enjoyable, I gave 8 stars, because it was not in person. Obviously, it was beyond control. For the future, I would suggest that if you have the opportunity to hold something in person, do it, because students love to experience a different environment from university. Of course, if it's not possible at all, I would say keep the structure like this, because I cannot think of any more interactive ideas than this. Maybe a person in the office could go around and give a life office tour.
