I really enjoyed my placement year at Roche, the work was varied as well as interesting and the people I worked with were all happy to help and answer any questions. The company as a whole had a great work ethic and seemed invested in its employees well-being and career progression, which was really nice to see. Overall I felt like I had lots of opportunities for work and was lucky to work with a team of people that also enjoyed the work they did.
I really enjoyed my year at Roche, the group was friendly and inclusive and put time and effort into my development. The work was varied and interesting and as my skills improved i could take on more responsibility which gave a great sense of achievement at the end.
Had a great year - I learnt a lot and got to meet and work with some great people! Doing a placement at Roche was one of the best decisions I ever made. I then rejoined Roche permanently after completing my studies and have been there ever since! (over 10 years)
I worked as a Country Clinical Trial Assistant (CCTA) within the Country Clinical Operations (CCO) group. I woke up on Monday mornings not dreading going into work, the environment at the workplace was enjoyable. The placement offered excellent opportunities such as additional training where desired alongside great job benefits such as a quality gym and regular celebrity guest speakers. (Not to mention team building days, formals and brilliant Christmas parties!)
I spent 15 months (12 month contract + optional up to 3 months extra) at Roche as an associate statistician. I highly recommend Roche for anyone studying mathematics/statistics. The work was varying and challenging, the working environment excellent and the people at Roche are fantastic!
My placement was a great opportunity to work across a large variety of different Therapeutic Areas (including Oncology, RA and Transplant) and be part of a team that delivered treatments to patients across the world. I enjoyed the wide variety of exposure I was trusted with and got to work with some great people.
I couldn't have asked for a better placement. I felt welcome as soon as I started and everyone was so friendly in the Bio-statistic's department. I learnt so many valuable and transferable skills which I found useful for my final year in university. I was very eager to return, and luckily for me I have managed to do this.
