It was an absolutely fantastic experience You dont feel like an intern you feel like a valued and equal employee
I mainly enjoyed my internship and the 12 weeks went by very fast It was a really interesting placement I met some lovely people and my manager was amazing
The twelve weeks really did go by really fast and by the end I felt like part of the team
It was a really good job to have The number of other interns and my friendly team made it a really fun place to work
It was a really enjoable experience and I am very sad to leave Everyone was friendly and welcoming right from start to finish
i had a lot of fun
In general within the organisation great My specific role less so Do lots of research before choosing which internship to apply for perhaps contact to ask more specifically what youll be working on
I did the policy and public affairs internship Really exciting blend of both with chance to take ownership of projects and get involved with other areas of the organisation
Everyone I met was lovely and make you feel really welcome They also had time for a laugh
The work was varied and interesting When i was asked to do something i was always reassured that i should only take on projects that I thought were worthwhile or useful to myself
I had a really great time the people I was working with went out of their way to make me feel welcome to make sure that I understood the role their department and that I was happy with the work I was doing
The work was always engaging I had a wide variety of projects which really kept me interested and allowed me to see the wide variety of work that Cancer Research UK does
It was such an enjoyable experience I wanted to go into work everyday
So many different task to get involved in no day was the same and it was never boring
It was exactly the type of placement I was looking for in terms for giving me some focus for my future career plans
I did enjoy aspects of it but at times felt that my efforts were rather inconsequential in such a large organisation
