It was a challenging year, but very enjoyable nonetheless. There were times when it felt like the best job in the world. However, during the busier periods it would test my will, but then it felt just as good to know I'd pushed through.
I really enjoyed my placement - I had real responsibility and a great team! I was immediately treated like any other member of staff and offered a variety of experiences throughout my year. The office is a great open plan space where there is always something going on. I have also been on a cruise around the Canary Islands, had a four day confrence in Palma and have a one night taster cruise coming up.
The placement was really good, there are good and bad points but what job is perfect? Just be prepared to be given a proper role and work hard but the support is there and you just need to ask if you're unsure about anything.
thoroughly enjoy the job, the exposure you get in the company is great. All interns take on the same role as graduates, and you are expected to handle a lot of responsibility. The perks of the job are great. You get to see how your work impacts the company on a daily basis. You also get to travel a lot! I have been to Spain, Tenerife, on a Cruise... and I've only worked here 5 months! The company benefits are amazing, you can get extremely cheap flights, better rates of currency exchange, and a £500 voucher towards a TUI holiday!
