I really enjoyed my internship with Handelsbanken. I was given an insight into day-to-day banking, having come to the internship with no experience in banking. The colleagues I have had the opportunity to work with were very approachable and welcoming, and the experience was definitely a worthwhile way to spend the summer.
Could not have asked for a better set of people to work with, everyone was willing to help me grow my knowledge of not only the company but also banking in general. Been a pleasure to be part of such a prestigious firm in the banking industry.
Really good insight into the systems and day-to-day duties within banking. I enjoyed it and confirmed that I wanted to continue my career in banking.
A lot to learn about a very unique bank. Understandably a few routine tasks were necessary however I was given the opportunity to solely manage a number of projects which was great.
I have really enjoyed my Internship at the branch. I have been given my own responsibilities including ownership of a large CRS project. I came to the bank without any prior experience in the finance or banking sector but feel after just 3 months I have gained invaluable experience to begin a career in banking.
I really enjoyed my second internship at Handelsbanken in the Peterborough branch. My tasks were varied which meant that I really learnt a lot and my colleagues were very approachable.
The internship at Handelsbanken was extremely broad in terms of what you were shown and the different elements you got involved in. It was very enjoyable because of this and meant that you really got to know various roles within the bank, making it a very worthwhile experience and a fantastic way to spend a summer.
