About PokerStars

PokerStars and Full Tilt are owned by Amaya Inc. and collectively form the largest poker business in the world, comprising online poker games and tournaments, live poker competitions, branded live poker rooms and poker programming created for television and online audiences. Both brands have also launched into other online gaming verticals, notably casino and sports book. The two brands combined net more than 70% of the global online poker market, which puts Amaya Inc. at the forefront of the eGaming industry.

PokerStars dealt its first hand in September 2001; PokerStars qualifies thousands of players to the biggest live poker events on the circuit every year, including the European Poker Tour (EPT) – the world’s richest and most popular poker tour - as well as the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). We are also home to the most watched poker television show in history, broadcasted to millions of viewers, the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge.

Amaya Inc. believes poker is a mind sport and has championed both sponsored professional poker players and global superstars of the sporting world; two of the biggest sports stars on the planet, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr, became PokerStars ambassadors in 2015.

Amaya Inc. employs industry-leading practices in customer service, product development, payment security, game integrity and player fund protection, and also holds more online poker licenses than any other e-gaming company. Amaya Inc. applies the same high standards to looking after its people.

At Amaya Inc., we believe that encouraging strong social bonds is a great way to forge lasting working relationships and is key to building an enthusiastic and driven workplace. Localised social committees operate out of all our offices worldwide, organising fun and frequent social activities, trips and parties. We celebrate milestones, including anniversary celebrations, ensuring everyone in the office can get involved. Giving back to our communities and supporting our people has been at the heart of the business since we first began. In 2013, the corporate giving programme ‘Helping Hands’ was launched, focusing charitable activity on two key areas of our business: Our Communities and Our People.
