Unrewarding placement Projects given did not carry extensive responsibility and were researched based in my specific department Position therefore worked towards no deadlines and was not challenging Did not stretch my skills and was very very loosely
I enjoyed being in a working environment and being part of a team however the work load could of been better I would still strongly recommend a placement at Airbus
Fantastic job with the support to grow into your role and really apply the Theory you have learnt at University
I really enjoyed the work placement It was a good balance between learning new things and hands on practical experience
Really challenging internship with a lot of responsability Never felt like an intern but was seen as a real team member
It was a good placement with real work to do and supportive colleagues I just found that it wasnt the job to suit my personality
I loved everything about my placement the job itself my team and the location
It was a different but valueable placement year which taught me alot about working in an engineering environment From the start it was a challenge and enjoyed the responsibilty given to me to stretch myself and enjoy both working on my own and in a small
It was a great experience but overall I feel I could have learnt more and been given more responsibility
It was an excellent internship the work was challenging and very enjoyable
When I look back over the year the opportunities I was given were amazing however I do remember quite often feeling bored and feel I could have learned more
At times work dried up and it was a little boring Sometimes they restricted my responsibility on projects but that was understandable as were talking megabucks here However when work was slow there was so much to learn and so many resources on site
This job wss sometimes extremely busy and very quiet at other times and required me to be very proactive with managing my workload it has a wide range of experiences and you have the opportunity to get involved with whatever you find interesting really
Since Airbus and EADS Parent company are large multinational companies woking here exposes you to more than engineering issues It helps you understand cultural and organisatinal structural differences Which prepares you for future careers
Working for a multinational company exposes you not only to engineering problems but those regarding cultural and work environment issues It prepares you very well for future career development
Almost all aspects of the job were enjoyable There was no task which I found to be particularly unenjoyable
