About GVI
Global Vision International is an international multi-award winning organisation focused on contributing towards high impact programs around the world. GVI strives to execute programs that target critical needs in environmental research, conservation, education, and community development.
We have been working towards creating and operating sustainable volunteer programs for more than 16 years. In order for our organisation to facilitate real and viable changes in the world, we have partnered with various entities and have joined forces with the local communities, NGO’s and government organisations. Over the years GVI’s project partners have included Save the Children, South African National Parks Board, Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, ReefBase, Project AWARE Foundation, Jane Goodall Institute, Rainforest Concern, PADI, DAN (Diver's Alert Network), WWF Mexico, and WWF Kenya.
GVI is regarded as a leading organisation within the field of internships and volunteering. Various international media organisations have reported about our life-changing activities.
Throughout the years GVI has had the honour of working on over 450 programs in more than 25 countries worldwide. Amongst our more than 25 000 participants in the past there has been a shared passion for making a difference in the world and transforming lives.
GVI operates various volunteer programs and also offers a variety of internships that create a platform for interns to live a more globally aware and fulfilling life while gaining invaluable work experience.
GVI Internships
GVI internships are offered in Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Interns are provided with the relevant training and will gain the necessary knowledge and skills for each program. GVI values growth, both personally and professionally, in each intern.
