An Industrial Placement at Cadbury is an excellent way of building valuable experience and could be a stepping-stone to the assessment stage of our graduate programme.
How does it work?
The idea is straightforward enough. We know that many students are looking for year-in-industry placements and we're keen to spot graduate talent at the earliest possible stage. That's why we're offering a number of industrial placements within the business, where you'll be given the chance to get involved in real projects from the moment you arrive.
You'll be set your own objectives, have one-to-one meetings with your manager and be given a formal review half way through the year. There's plenty of support on offer too, though. We'll provide you with a buddy - someone who can offer advice and guidance and act as a sounding board if you have any queries or concerns.
What opportunities are there?
We offer a number of one-year industrial placements in:
• Sales
• Engineering
• Science & Technology
• IT (based in our Global Science Centre
• Finance (based in our Global Science Centre
On all the programmes you'll work closely with the team and making an active contribution to the business. You'll also enjoy regular meetings with your manager to ensure you're progressing, developing and getting the most from the experience.

If you have a successful year with us, you'll be invited to attend an assessment centre with other Industrial Placement candidates. The results of this day - along with the reviews and reports we've put together during your stay - will determine whether you're invited to join the Graduate Programme.
