About Hewlett-Packard CDS
Hewlett-Packard CDS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard and although an integral part of EMEA Delivery operations, is a separate legal entity providing true multivendor service capability for HP Customers. The HP service offerings are contained in a single portfolio of HP branded services, which are delivered by both HPCDS and HP service teams. HPCDS specialises in on-site delivery for multivendor products and services.
HPCDS was formed after the acquisition of Synstar plc which has over 40 years’ experience of delivering multi-vendor services across Europe. Our company has a long tradition of delivering highly customised services and we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction. This broad range of skills coupled with an agile workforce creates flexibility in service solutions which can be tailored to individual customer needs.
HPCDS are present in 10 EMEA countries with UK and Ireland providing services to a number of remote locations and around 170 fixed sites. HPCDS employs approximately 6,000 members of staff across Europe with 1,500 being in the United Kingdom and Ireland alone. HPCDS have an EMEA wide turnover of close to $500,000,000 and a UK&I turnover of $130,000,000.
Placement Details
Hewlett-Packard CDS has two industry-based placement opportunities available for 2016/17, within the following departments:
- Finance
- Human Resources
The individuals selected would have the opportunity to learn key skills in their chosen disciplines and gain exposure to a busy working environment.
The successful candidates would be based at our Head Office in Theale, Berkshire and would ideally be expected to reside locally. The length of the placement will be approximately 13 months from July to August.
