With a hard-won reputation rooted in science and expertise, and commitment to innovation, we’re the world’s leading provider of technology and services to the energy industry.
Working globally, we invent, design, engineer, apply, and maintain technologies that help our customers find and produce oil and gas more efficiently and safely.
Founded in 1926, the company takes its name from Conrad and Marcel Schlumberger, brothers who transformed the energy industry with the revolutionary idea of using electrical measurements to map subsurface rock formations.
We employ around 110,000 people representing more than 140 nationalities and work in more than 85 countries. We leverage strong local experience and work hard to attract, retain, and develop diverse and exceptional talent.
At Schlumberger, you will be encouraged to share your ideas and make an impact wherever you can. Join us today to shape your own success and realize your full potential!
Working with us, your job begins the day you’re hired, with the opportunity to have early responsibility, including as an intern. This makes every day different: Whether you’re dealing directly with customers, maintaining multimillion-dollar tools, or designing solutions to further improve our technology, you’ll always be exposed to interesting and challenging opportunities.
Internships at our Research, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sustaining centres present you with real industry problems and a chance to make an impact. You’ll work within a team of highly qualified experts for anywhere from 3 months to 1 year. Our work is multidisciplinary, so we recruit engineers and scientists from a variety of backgrounds with strong technical skills and a passion for their subject.
Interns are a vital part of Schlumberger, so you can rest assured that we will properly look after you! In exchange for all your hard work, we host events for interns across the country to meet, network, and have fun. We closely follow your progress, give you support, feedback, and plenty of opportunities to discuss and plan career options on a one-to-one basis with the graduate recruiting team.
