Who we are
We’re Dyson, a global technology enterprise. Since 1993 we’ve been finding new ways to solve real-world problems – from vacuum cleaners with revolutionary cyclone technology, to a hairdryer with intelligent heat control. We employ over 12,000 people globally, with over 4,800 in the UK; a third of whom are engineers and scientists. We remain market-leaders in the UK, and also in the US, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe and Canada.
With interests in artificial intelligence, machine learning, haircare, electric vehicles and much more, the next few years will be our biggest and busiest yet. With that comes the need for more people to help us reach our 2020 ambitions and beyond. But only the most ambitious need apply.
What to expect
Internships and placements at Dyson are different. You’ll work on live projects – some of which will be top secret. We’ll give you real responsibility and you’ll be expected to deliver every time. You’ll learn from our in-house experts and be part of a community of people who inspire each other and help you to realise your potential. If you impress us, you could secure a full-time graduate role when you leave university. In addition to a stimulating work environment, there’s always plenty going on outside of the office, too. It's a fulfilling place to start your working life.

This isn’t an easy option. We’ll rely on you to make an impact on Dyson’s future, whatever department you work in. We need problem solvers and quick thinkers who have insatiable curiosity, with the ability to contribute innovative ideas. Whether you’re with us for 3, 6 or 12 months, you’ll make every day count.
