I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at Rolls-Royce. I have been immersed into a team and been given responsibility from the very start of my placement. I have developed several skills, such as communication, professionalism and adaptability and I have been able to develop my legal knowledge in several commercial areas.
I really enjoyed my work placement at BMW Group in Plant Oxford. I learned a lot of relevant skills to my engineering degree while on the job, along with other general office skills which will benefit me in my future career. Overall it has been a very good first experience of working full time.
I did very much enjoy my internship at BMW. I got insight in many different departments (HR Services, Global Assignments, Payroll & Benefits, etc). The work environment is very friendly and pleasant and everybody is very helpful. You get the opportunity to learn how to work independently but also as a team. You also get the chance to meet a lot of people and network which is very useful for your future career.
I enjoyed my work. I was put in a position in which I could do what I wanted to get more as much as possible out of my placement. I looked forward to going to work every day and I was happy with the fact that I was helped during the WFH period of my placement.
Placement was fantastic overall, very rewarding and with a great opportunity for development. Really enjoyed the production plant as a whole, was great experience to see the factory at work and get to work on different parts of it. Very well rounded with a lot of opportunity for different things.
BMW treat you as a valued member of their team straight away - I was given lots of high responsibility jobs which made me feel trusted within the team. The only negative I would say would be that there was a few times when I wasn't that busy (Although not very frequently).
my work placement has been an experience like no other. It has given me an insight into what working in a company is like. there are always some tasks which are not as desired and feel like a chore, but the majority of the time, I was able to use my skills to my best ability.
Everyday was a different opportunity to showcase my talent and learn important skills through responsible tasks. I have transformed from a student into a young professional and established valuable contacts in the industry. Our smiles and interactions always enriched my days and contributed to making my time there all the better.
I enjoyed a lot of the task I had to do, this placement is not directly related to my usual expertise and I really enjoyed to get some kind of engineering and programming background. The working environment was also pretty nice, because I was provided with a very good computer, three screens and a mobile phone. I was able to get some good insights on how engines get produced. Overall I enjoyed it, but I would not do it again, because I need more experience in my actual future working field,
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with PA-52, Swindon. My colleagues made a great effort to make me feel welcome from the start and continued to do so. The working environment and culture they have created is unique to this office making you feel valued and part of a team. I have been supported and encouraged throughout my time here with enough responsibility to get on independently with the tasks and projects set.
I thouroughly enjoyed my placement for the most part. I worked in the facilities departemnt which has only just started to get interns and this was evident at the start where i was very much left to my own devices. Once I managed to get involved with a few projects and found some things to do it was much better.
I really loved my placement at BMW UK. Every day was different and I genuinely didn't have a single day where I dreaded going to work. The working culture completely exceeded my expectations - you're encouraged to be authentic and original. Not only this, but you're encouraged to work flexibly and work from home too to fit your schedule around your home like/personal commitments. Every one was so friendly and made every day enjoyable.
I have gladly enjoyed my internship. This internship allowed me to learn more about myself as well as learn more about how a large organization operates. I felt like it did not really match my field of expertise, but nevertheless I have learnt more as a result and I was able to take a lot of initiatives that further developed my learning.
Working at BMW Group has been excellent, the business culture is not as you would expect. The culture is very open and forward thinking. This is because of great communication throughout different departments, hot-desking and also a 'dress for your day' code so most people where jeans and a shirt which keeps things relaxed.
I enjoyed getting to know the company, looking behind the scenes. It was very interesting to learn about the processes and approaches to everyone's tasks. I got a lot of impressions about the work my managers are doing and was given some responsibility. Everybody was very inlcusive and so helpful, whenever someone was in need of support.
I really enjoyed my time in the UK and especially my time at BMW. During that time I gathered at lot of new skills (e.g. skills in RPA) and gathered international experience as a part of BMW UK. To sum it up I really enjoyed my time working abroad here in the United Kingdom.
I do enjoy working for BMW UK as part of the Marketing department. I feel i have a real responsibility and the tasks I complete are interesting and constantly developing. The team that work in the department are fun to work with and very friendly, making every day exciting and enjoyable.
Very much so! I learned a lot, got many insights into different areas, met interesting people and had very engaging discussions. I had my own responsibilities and always a lot to do on my desk. When I needed support, I never felt bad for asking.
The internship was enjoyable as it is a varied role where you can gain a valuable insight into a variety of departments such as finance, sales, manufacturing, technical etc. Also, the additional perks of working at a company such as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, including tours of the plant, rides in the cars and learning about the history of one of the worlds most luxurious brands.
