I've absolutely loved this year! I was initially a little sceptical of the role/brand I'd been assigned. However, as the year went on, I really understood why I had been given this particular role. I've learnt so much, met some really inspiring people and have so many amazing memories to take away from the experience. I look forward to work and feel proud of the projects I've worked on.
Overall, my work placement has been a very positive, and incredibly useful experience for me. It is a hugely exciting company with a whole multitude of amazing brands, each of which is completely unique. My experience has definitely been defined by my team, who have all been really supportive and encouraged me to make the most of my time here.
I really enjoyed my placement at L'Oreal. I was given so much responsibility throughout my internship which really allowed me to really grow as a person and become more confident. As well as having a good work life, the social life was good too. My team and the friends I made while at L'Oreal made my time there extremely enjoyable.
The responsibility and trust L'Oreal give you is amazing. My Job role was very broad ranging from launching products, eventing, subcon to creating marketing materials. The only negative is it is a very fast pace environment to work in and if you are a laid back person you may struggle every little task is taken very seriously.
I enjoyed my placement as Loreal, it really aided in both my professional and personal development. I got a lot of responsibility in my role which really pushed my ability to make decisions based on my own initiative. This helped me gain confidence in my personal ability. I believe Loreal has really prepared me well for working life.
I loved my time at L'Oreal. In the past year I have learned more than I ever dd at university. The teams were friendly, dynamic and very sociable. The office has a youthful vibe whilst maintaining a serious corporate feel which for me felt like the right balance. I would recommend to everyone.
I have enjoyed my placement a lot, it has been challenging, and i have never seen the bottom of my to do list. However the fast paced environment makes the days and weeks blur. There are many different types of people working in each division and each team, meaning you are bound to find someone you get a long with. Your role may not suit you, but if you get on with people it makes it so much better
I have really enjoyed working here on placement. My teams have treated me as another employee, not just as an intern meaning the jobs I was allocated were challenging and valued. In addition, L'Oreal give benefits such as WorkSmart meaning hours can be flexible and work around things such as appointments.
I have enjoyed my placement year more than I ever thought I would. L'Oreal has surprised me in many ways and made what I thought would be a difficult year a really fun one. I have received incredible opportunities and learnt invaluable life lessons, all while having a great time.
I have really enjoyed my placement year at L'Oreal. I have been well supported by a fantastic team who has helped me developed both personally and professionally. I have been given countless opportunities to up skill myself whether it be through formal training, observing my team or learning on the job. The interns at L'Oreal are treated as real employees with real responsibilities, having the autonomy to manage my own projects was extremely rewarding!
My placement with L'Oreal has been insightful, gratifying and experiential. I have enjoyed my time here thoroughly and will take so much knowledge and understanding of the beauty market when I leave. During my time as an intern I never felt as if i was an 'intern' I was completely immersed with the team as we all worked so well together.
My role has given me a large amount of responsibility as well as tasks which are vital in supporting the division. I have had chances to change processes for the better and interact with other interns and employees. My team has been supportive and I have gained valuable skills in the process of my time working at L'Oréal.
My year at L'Oreal has really exceeded my expectations and I have thoroughly enjoyed everyday. I feel during the year I have developed as a person personally and professionally. This is due to the responsibility given from day one. I felt fundamental to the business and was consistently pushed, sometimes right to the limit. All I am extremely grateful for.
Overall I have really enjoyed my placement year. I have had the opportunity to work on so many exciting projects and had so much responsibility from day one. However with such great responsibility comes increased pressure and stress. At first this can be very overwhelming, particularly if you haven't had much experience in the world of work. However, the year has been a great learning experience and I am so glad I have spent the year at L'Oreal.
I enjoyed my placement a great deal. I found my skills developed very quickly and my colleagues gave me plenty of assistance. I've found the staff to be friendly and supportive and HR to be very responsive. There is plenty of free food offered, a good amount of work life balance for interns and in the Summer everyone gets to leave a few hours early on Friday. Working from home is another perk extended to interns, generally done once per week. There's a heavy level of administrative work but this is to be expected in an internship, I still found I learned from this sort of work.
