I enjoyed meeting the UBS employees and also other students. there was a chance to network at the end of the three day programme. The days were quite long but it was worth it because I learnt a lot. I hope to keep in touch will other students and UBS employees
I really enjoyed the insight as it gave me a new perspective regarding financial services. The UBS Talent Lab 2018 was jam-packed with talks and workshops from different people and different areas of the multinational Swiss Bank. I particularly enjoyed the workshops as they created a fun aspect to the different services UBS has.
The 3 days provided lots of opportunities to ask questions and find out about all the different divisions across the bank. It was also beneficial to have the chance to meet a variety of employees from graduates up to senior managing directors. I learnt a lot and really enjoyed my experience.
The ubs Talents Lab program was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed a lot in getting to know the company, different sectors, people working at UBS and other fellow candidates of the program. Overall, it was an overwhelming 3 days and I am excited to come back soon.
I found the insight week highly enjoyable. We worked as groups on various challenges, including one which lasted all three days; this helped us to network and meet like-minded students. It was helpful as the 3 days were structured with different days being spent learning about different divisions of UBS, some of which I am keen to learn more about.
It was a great opportunity! I really enjoyed my time at UBS, it was a 10/10 experience for me - each day we had several speakers and bespoke interactive workshops that allowed us to gain a unique insight into each of the banks businesses areas. It was a really exciting and engaging experience.
My experience at UBS was great. The week was perfectly organised by the HR team and all employees at UBS were really engaged with the program. I met a lot of talented and like-minded individuals who I look forward to staying in touch with. It helped me realise that UBS is somewhere I'd very much like to work at in the future.
I very much enjoyed the UBS Talents Lab program, with the three day duration being optimal for providing a real insight into all of UBS's divisions, while minimising the number of 'waffly' sections. I particularly enjoyed participating in the workshops, which provided hands on experience via practical and creative activities.
It was a great learning experience, had the opportunity to network with people from various teams, learned about the various divisions, had some extremely useful case studies like the M&A one or the trading game. We were also given good tips on the interview process as well as various goodies.
There were so many challenging aspects of the spring week, but this is what made it so interesting in my opinion. During the difficult areas, I would say I learnt a very large amount but it perhaps would've been utilised much better had I been given the chance to prepare the background knowledge and understand the concepts a bit better.
Really enjoyed getting the insight from the top professionals in the field. I enjoyed how we had workshops which were interactive and really pleasant people o be around.. it’s exciting to so welcomed and involved in this professional and inspiring environment and I enjoyed how the few days took such well regimented structure so we got the I’ll experience possible
The three day event was engaging, motivating and a great opportunity to learn about working at UBS. I found the variety of the activities meant that we could experience how it is like to work in different divisions. It was also a great chance to meet like minded people with the similar aspiration.
I enjoyed the Talents Lab as it gave me an insight into the different divisions within UBS and the roles carried out by each. It was also enjoyable as I met lots of likeminded people, as well as had the chance to interact with UBS employees and ask them about their jobs and careers.
It was a lot of fun, lots of information is provided and its a great opportunity to expose yourself to the workings of a large financial institution. There are a lots of presentations and you have to digest a lot of information but that is counteracted by the really fun workshop sessions based on the information, which allows you to understand more.
