Would have been alright if I was actually interested in the job
Mainly enjoyable steep learning curve at first for those from a nonfinance background but lots to learn and great environment to learn from
Ive found my dream job
Days have flown by
It was OK theres only so much you can learn in 8 weeks but there were chances to go and explore other areas and see how an investment bank works
Trading desks are rather tough You need strong personality as an intern and as a full time employee It is not as easy going as sales desks
My role really helped me explore other areas of the bank and I learned loads
The work given was not challenging intellectually Rather it was just a case of putting in the hours and effort
The internship taught me a lot and it confirmed that I would like to work in risk management
Amazing experience everyone extremely friendly and welcoming part of the team straight away Great job hours not too long and good pay
Fun
In general it was great experience with a very good company From first week training to internship feedback session everything was professional and well organised Hence I am planning to return to UBS after graduation
Hard work but great team a little frustrating due to stopstart nature of work
The schedule for us interns was full with training interesting talks from key persons in the bank financial training
I felt that the work I was doing was very valuable but occasionally it became a bit boringmonotonous As I was knew to the team and project I often found myself recordingobserving things I didnt understand which meant maintaining my interest and focu
Very challenging meant it was extremely rewarding
