Pendragon PLC has grown to become the UK’s leading automotive retailer. A multi-national operator of franchised motor dealers in the UK, with international outlets in the US, we celebrated 25 years of becoming a public limited company this year! This is a long time, and of course, we have experienced some highs and lows of our journey, to become number one, but is the hard work and dedication of our team that has made it all possible.

Today we have around 9,000 employees, and represent 20 specialist and luxury brands across 220 dealerships. Our brands include Stratstone, the UK’s leading premium motor car retailer, Evans Halshaw, the UK’s leading volume motor car retailer and Quicks which has 7 used car operation sites within the UK. Additionally, Chatfields offers retail and service outlets for DAF commercial vehicles, Pendragon Contracts offers a range of fleet leasing and management facilities, Quickco wholesales independent parts and Pinewood offers software solutions to dealers and fleet operators.

Our year in industry placement is perfect for a current undergraduate studying a Business or Management related degree, looking to be a part of a fast paced industry and seeing the exciting challenges and changes we continuously face.

We have designed our placement programme to give you a bigger picture into the day-to-day operation of running the UK’s largest automotive retailer and. You will apply your theory into working practices and we will work with you to tailor your experience to meet your learning needs.

We also offer you the chance to move around different areas, as we understand you may not know where your strengths lie within a corporate environment. These business areas include Human Resources, Marketing and Communication, Operations and Business Development.
