I have really enjoyed my placement with Panasonic, it has given me so much opportunity, the chnace to learn new things and meet lots of new people. It has been an extremely valuable experience. There is a 15 (changes yearly) other placement students at Panasonic and this really enhances the whole expereince!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Panasonic! I have loved the work and like the office atmosphere and environment. My department have been so welcoming and I really have felt like a member of the team. The role was exactly what I wanted to do and I have been allowed to make changes and really leave my mark on the work and role.
I really enjoyed my work placement at Panasonic. The company culture in the B2B division has been a welcome surprise to the business world, as everybody is so warm and welcoming. We have had a lot of opportunities to build relationships with our team on work events in both the UK and Europe, and I have also been lucky to form friendships where we enjoy spending time together on weekends. The level of responsibility I have received during this year has also been incredible. It has really pushed me to expand my skill set and ensure I am better placed to working in PR in the future.
I have had many fantastic opportunities whilst at Panasonic. Working as part of the European B2B division gave me the opportunity to travel to Amsterdam, Paris and Germany, working across cultures which I have found fascinating. As a B2B PR and social media assistant I have developed numerous skills and been given a lot of responsibility.
The work was interesting and engaging, it was challenging at times but thats good as it keeps you engaged and stops you from getting bored. As with any job there are always going to be tasks that you may find boring but they are countered with the more fun tasks. The team were so friendly and always up for a laugh and I was able to travel with work too which was great. I felt like my work was valued and had an impact on the business which is rewarding and makes you want to put your whole effort into all you do. Overall it has been a great year!
Panasonic offers a lot of flexibility and I was able to tailor my work load around the areas I enjoyed. You receive real responsibilities at Panasonic and although the role challenges you there is always people around who can help, making the work enjoyable instead of over-stressful. You'll have good days and bad, but the work is enjoyable if you choose to make the most of it and get stuck in.
Overall I have changed significantly from this placement. I have become more confident, more efficient but most importantly I now have a strong drive and motivation to work hard and be successful. I believe my strengths lie in data analysis and this is something that I enjoyed throughout this placement.
I enjoyed this placement a lot due to the amount of responsibility and opportunity I received almost from day 1 which I was not expecting. I have run projects and events with major retailers and that's a great experience for not only along side your degree but for your CV.
I have really enjoyed my year with Panasonic. I have been given real responsibility, with a role that branches out into all aspects of the consumer arm of Panasonic UK. This, along with the chance to work within an industry I am really interested in, has meant my time at Panasonic has been both enjoyable and rewarding.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at Panasonic, as I feel I was truly given an opportunity to get as much out of the time as possible. The position was new and therefore I was able to shape my responsibilities and focus to areas I was most keen on experiencing.
I've had an absolutely fantastic time in my role here this year. I've been working in a part of the company that is growing and is a major part of what the top management sees as Panasonic's future (B2B) so compared to the other student roles in the consumer division my experience has been very different. I've been able to represent the company in ways that I haven't done in any of my other part time jobs, as well as function very much like a permanent member of staff with a good degree of autonomy.
Very good to gain real life industrial experience working for a large electronics company. Get to gain an insight into corporate working life, and get to work with Panasonic on a global scale. Can work closely with managers to help with business planning for Panasonic UK, promotional activities and competitors intelligence.
I really enjoyed my role during my placement year with Panasonic, due to the variety of tasks I was involved in each month and the number of new environments I experienced. Whilst the work could often be fairly challenging, the environment at work is very enjoyable and I had a good working relationship with my team. I was able to attend a number of events that I was interested in, which enabled me to network largely and create contacts that will become extremely useful in the future.
The lasting memory will always be the people. Everyone was great and there was a real bond with everyone there. As my role required talking to people, nobody was quick to shut me down or try to shove me off. There was also a great unity with the other students and lots of socialising.
Whilst on my year long placement at Panasonic UK, I got to experience a complete vary of opportunities, working with different people across many different areas of the business and external agencies (some in which it was not part of my daily role to do so) and being able to attend and work different events. Together, these enabled me to really enjoy my experience working at the company, never having a day the same and never having little to do in order to get bored.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Panasonic. Working in the Visual department was busy but rewarding, travelling to events across the country and seeing them being a success was very rewarding. I loved working with my team and I could have asked for a better placement year.
I really enjoyed my placement, I was in a position that allowed me to have a lot of responsibility and a varying number of tasks. The best factor of my placement scheme was running the recruitment for the 2015-2016 industrial placement scheme. I was able to see the entire process from the other side and get a real sense of achievement out of the process.
