About Estée Lauder
American manufacturer and marketer of prestige skincare, fragrance and makeup products Estée Lauder was founded in 1946 by Estée Lauder and her husband Joseph Lauder. They started the company in New York City in 1946, two years later in 1948 they established their first department store account with Saks Fifth Avenue.
Estée Lauder was a skin care pioneer, but was also gifted with a wonderful fragrance “nose.” One of Estée's earliest successes was Youth-Dew, a blend of jasmine, rose and a few other scents that would bring her fame. Estée Lauder now as a revenue of $11.6 billion (2016), this was a 4% increase from the figures achieved in 2015.
