What was the application process like?

The application process was friendly and inviting. The recruitment team kept me upto-date during every stage of the process and were always happy to help with any questions I had, no matter how small.

What was the interview process like?

Interviewers were genuinely interested to learn about applicants and it was also a perfect opportunity for me to learn about SAP. The diverse interview task allowed me to showcase a range of skills and stand out from the crowd.

What advice would you give to students applying for your role?

Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. You always need to be yourself and embrace every opportunity that comes your way. You get 13 months to make your mark, so make everything you do count.

How much responsibility do you have?

SAP has a large intern community and they really embrace utilising your skills. During my internship I have had the opportunity to work on my own deals, generating real revenue in the business. Responsibility is given if you show willingness to work hard.

What do you most enjoy about your role?

I love how my role differs day to day; I always have a new challenge to face, a new customer to meet and something new to learn. I am also lucky to have such a supportive team who will always guide me when needed.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The great thing about SAP is that when a challenge arises, there’s always someone that can support you. Originally, I struggled to ask for support, however, when you realise everyone is more than willing to help you, challenges become a lot easier.
