Role Description

Engaging with Jagex's online gaming community and providing support and assistance by helping to return players accounts, answer queries, investigate complaints, solve issues, and review offense appeals.

Assisting with billing, technical issues, community safety and forum issues.

Ensuring the maintenance of chat filters and dealing with offensive account names

Working with the investigation unit to enforce copyright and keeping the community safe.

The working structure is very thought out at Jagex and there is always work to be done there is even development causes rune by in house by Jagex to improve your time management.

You are not restricted by being a placement at Jagex, if you show a dedication to achieve and do well then you will be given all the responsibility you can handle. While on placement I had the opportunity to apply for Shift Leader and many other roles across the company.

Not only have I picked up technical skills for my degree but I have also developed my personal skills through Jagex's in hour development courses. I can apply these skills in the future for when I hope to return to Jagex after I graduate.

The amount of resources that Jagex invests in placement development is impressive, they run a variety of in house management and skill development courses. I took part in the SDP which is a cause specially aimed at people looking to become managers.

Jagex is a great placement and I cannot recommend it more, if you are interested in getting into the games industry and developing yourself then Jagex is the perfect company to work for.
