  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had a really great manager and got to work on some fun things but the majority of the work was quite mundane.

  • The work I did I was always thanked for and felt like it was appreciated

  • Very good support from my task manager, my personal development manager however was hard to get hold of because they were always very busy

  • Often didn't have enough work to do unless it came up to an event and then they'd be loads to do

  • I was left in charge of running our area of marketing when my manager was ill

  • I do a marketing degree so haven't learnt that much in terms of marketing but got some great experience in events

  • Very quiet office, it will be closing in the near future

  • You had regular reviews and it followed a structure

  • I had marketing intern days where we built on skills and there's an day for all the interns to go to to find out more about graduate careers

  • They don't do a marketing graduate scheme but they do let the current interns apply for the graduate jobs before the general public can

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Not in my office but I was in a very small office, there were only about ten of us

  • Surrey is pretty expensive since its right next to London

  • There's okay nightlife in Guildford

  • If you were willing to put yourself out there and volunteer or organise things yourself then yes
