The Role

Role Description

This was a ten-week internship within the Group Procurement division, which involved taking ownership of projects, streamlining processes within the team, providing administrative support to permanent staff and dealing with outside suppliers. Some of the specific tasks performed included:
- Contacting suppliers to ascertain the correct point of contact for the consideration of an RfP
- Standardising the monthly Management Information packs received from all BPO suppliers and creating a hybrid pack which would gain visibility with the Group Procurement Director and other executives
- Assisting with cost modelling for outsourcing projects
- Drafting contract change requests
- Sense-checking and amending contractual Statements of Work and approving them ready for sign-off
- Helping to research and shape a report on the global BPO industry for the Managing Director of Operations
