The Role
I really enjoyed working for Boots, it helped me to grow a lot and gave a kick-start to my carrier.
I was given the opportunity to lead projects based on my initiatives and my efforts and achievements were always valued and supervised for further development.
I had a line manager a mentor and a buddy. I had plenty of guidance.
I never was bored or unchallenged.
I didn't make crucial decisions, but my work was generally important to the team and for the company.
I learned a lot of transferable skills and lot of documentation and diagram creations which are a great help for my studies.
The Company
Generally good.
Apart from a few hiccups it was organised.
The company invested a large amount of money, time and energy in me.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I got a permanent job at the end of my placement.
The Culture
Not really.
Affordable
I was in Nottingham and this city offers some great opportunites.
