The Role
Very much enjoyed the internship.
Felt very much part of the team I was positioned in, however my work did not always directly involve them.
Very good personal development plans with regular meetings a nd a variety of channels of support.
Very much what you put in is what you get out.
Each intern received their own project to complete where they could put their own twist on.
Excellent foundation for furthering career into finance. Irrelevant for degree.
The Company
Perfect balance of motivational drive and social interaction that reflects the function and the business.
Very well organised with regular feedback and chance to input ideas that were implemented before the 10 weeks were up.
Considering it was a short summer internship we had plenty of on-boarding session, training classes and the chance to arrange your own extra training.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Appealing.
The Culture
Very good social scene amongst the interns, year on industry's and graduates.
Lived in nearby cheaper town but Nottingham is fairly reasonable.
Loads of bars and plenty of places to finish the night.
Felt as a normal employ with all variety of extra activities including running during lunch break and 5-aside football.
