About You
Plenty of networking opportunities to get to know the firm, also the analyst who interviewed me got in touch prior to the week to make me feel welcome!
People were on hand at all times throughout the programme to answer any questions.
Good for building information on applications.
The Company
Very well organised, giving a broad view of the entire investment bank.
Quite intense but very enjoyable, the hard working ethos definitely comes across, as well as the buzz of the employees there .
Various departments ran skills sessions to allow us to get an understanding of how that division works.
Several talks from analysts which was very beneficial.
The intensity meant we breathed the culture of the firm and this was drilled into us throughout the week.
The best part about the week; we got to explore the entire bank rather than a single division, I learnt about departments I was previously unsure of and now decided this is where I want to work (Equity Research)
Everything Else
Expenses reimbursed and accommodation provided.
Every night there was some form of networking opportunity.
Definitely recommend to someone who is unsure which part of Banking they would like to work in.
