  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • A very enjoyable experience, wide variety of work and good ambience.

    • Very friendly, treated me as an equal and didn't make me feel inferior in any way.

    • A little background information and support was given and to be honest, I didn't expect much more - these are busy people, after all.

    • Amazing. Wasn't overwhelming but I was never left with nothing to do.

    • Much more than I expected but this made me feel important and not like another cog in the big machine.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I definitely gained some transferable and useful skills - I had to work with many people and stick to deadlines.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Very professional but never dull. We all got on with things but it was very friendly and the atmosphere encouraged positive relations and good work.

    • Everything ran very smoothly, I was talked through everything and was never confused or unaware of what to do.

    • Can't fault it. I was provided one-to-one support and further contacts to build on.

    • I'm sure I have a chance as I was able to show off my skills and knowledge well.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We all ate together and a few of us commuted together as well. Made some great friends.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • London is not cheap. At all. But for the sheer number of different pubs, clubs and other venues, it's worth it.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Something for everyone. Admittedly quite intimadting on weekends but amazing nevertheless.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Again, being in London is advantageous here.
