  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I think it's a great opportunity to be a part of and fab that Savills offer the placement over a variety of offices and departments.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt valued by my collegues in the office.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The guidence I recieved was great. However, I didn't seem to have a specific manager/supervisor which made it confusing from time to time.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I don't think there was enough communication between head office and the office I was working within, not the offices fault at all.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I believe that I was given a good amount of responsibiltiy, enough for me to get on with without asking too many questions but at the same time not feel overwhelmed and unprepared.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Getting to know how to use programmes such as focus/circle/promap in the work place will help me in my studies and when I start my graduate position putting me at an advantage to others.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great atmosphere. Not too busy which is perfect for me.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I think that the graduate team did a great job when it came to sending emails out and setting projects etc. However, their communication with the office was poor.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They showed me how to use the online systems and programmes which is very useful. I also took part in an online safety test.

  • Fantastic company who I woud love to work for in the future

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I was the only placement student so not really

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • £30 per week on the train + lunch

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife is good but unfortunately I didn't go out whilst on my month placement

  • Yes a few over the month
