The Role
You get out what you put in. If you are proactive and work hard then you will be rewarded and you will thoroughly enjoy it.
Again, if you put the work in, you will be valued highly by colleagues as the work you are doing will have a direct impact on their productivity and ultimately their profits.
Very good guidance and support. I was completely new to the industry and it was not long before I was technically competent thanks to the training.
Proactivity is the key, if you want to do the interesting work you need to actively look for it.
Responsibility increased with time.
Less so for my degree as it is not related. However I have gained invaluable commercial experience and an excellent insight into the industry.
The Company
Very good office atmosphere, real team feel.
Very well organised. I felt fully informed at every stage and was well aware of all expectations at every stage.
I spent time with managers and directors who actively took an interest in my personal training and development.
Company Parties/Events
There is a clear pathway for progression from intern onto the grad scheme and beyond. This is clearly communicated to all interns during training.
The Culture
There weren't many interns in my specific office but there was the opportunity to socialise with other Page Group interns in the larger London office.
Central London will always be expensive. Great social scene though.
Central London. Pricey but always good.
Occasional work drinks.
