  • I've really enjoyed my plcement, and will be really sad to go back to university.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My team really made me feel welcome. From day one I wasn't an intern, I was a fully-fledged member of the team and I'm leaving having become good friends with them.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • 5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Everyday was different, but I really enjoyed each day as it bought new challenges and new opportunities.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The rule was, if you want more responsibility, then ask for it. So I did. Soon I was running press events and managing samples all by myself.

    5/5

  • The atmosphere was corporate, but my team are great and there are some great conversations to be had with other teams!

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement has been running for ages, so the process was pretty faultless. Everything was set up for me when I started, and anything else I needed I could just ask for :)

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • 5/5

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I'd love to come back and work with Panasonic, but due to the team layout I don't think this is possible unless someone leaves, which is a real shame!

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I lived with the other students on the placement scheme, so every night was socialising! It made the move a lot less scary and we've done loads of cool things together as a group!

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Moving to the south was a change, and it was quite expensive! But living was pretty cheap!

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Living near Reading means there's lots of opportunites for night life, but the clubs aren't that great!
