Development of a computer model to simulate power flows in a small region of the UK.

Daily Tasks:

Working on computers (primarily Excel)
Meeting with engineers, economists and management to gater data & advice
Working in a team of 4 undergrads, mostly left to manage ourselves

Probably limited. A good insight into the transmission industry as a whole, the future energy network of the UK, and into group and project work. Excel and presentation skills certainly improved!
