The Role

Role Description

My role was based within the Local GLOBE Organisation (LGO) which is responsible for providing users with full support and system advice across all areas of the business. I supported both the Finance and Human Resources business areas.

Some examples of my responsibilities were:
- Checking the over-night batch jobs had been successful (which make financial postings)
- Communicating with team members and other teams (including offshore) to find out the progression on problems that had been raised by the business.
- Ensuring that the Credit Card files were successfully received on a daily basis, and investigating and errors that were generated from this.

When i had been in the role for a couple of months I also became involved in Supporting a business critical system and involved in other projects to improve the processes and efficiency of the department.
