Did a similar role to a first year graduate in that I was given meaningful work to carry out, with responsibility for different sections of the work. Had lots of scope to go and talk to the client, with issues noted during accounts testing.

You can be really well rewarded by doing the scheme, if you work hard and get good feedback, then you are more than likely to get a full time position afterwards. People make you feel really welcome, and it's a great opportunity to get a job before your final year. Highly recommended!
