There was so much to do I haven't even done everything I wanted to do.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

If you get an opportunity to come to Baillie Gifford and be in Edinburgh for the summer, take it! The heavily subsidised flat was amazing and so close to work and because you live with the other interns you have ready made friends to socialize with. The internship is exciting and interesting and so are the people. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is up here when you are so I have been to see so many shows and comedians and the atmosphere is brilliant. Oh, and the work life balance is the BEST thing about it! I work from about 8.40am to 5.20pm and honestly, so does everyone else so you have so much opportunity in the evening and aren't constantly stressed or tired, it's great.
